Tim dropped into my office to talk about shooting his wedding, and we got the chance to bounce some ideas around as far as doing an engagement shoot as well. We really wanted to do something that was unique to the two of them, and that represented who they are. They both have strong ties to Columbia, so we thought that shooting some pictures in their apartment, then heading down to the Columbia campus would be a great way to start it.But we wanted to take it even further, and Tim threw out the idea of arranging the shoot to coincide with a picnic with their friends.
I loved the thought of catching them while they were really interacting with friends. So to finish the shoot, Tim and Renu had a bunch of friend meet them down on Riverside Park.
During our shoot, Tim and Renu were telling me how they’re thinking of lining things up so Tim shows up for the wedding on a white horse. For real. Can’t wait.
